Loma de Níquel (Venezuela)

Online LIMS completed a successful installation in record time at the Anglo American mine in Venezuela. The lab at MDLN is a 24/7 operation organized in 3 shifts. Instruments interfaced included: XRF Spectro XLAB2000, ICP Spectro SpectroFlame Modula S, LECO, Las Navas TGA-2000, Balances, Metrohm 808 Titrando, etc.

We like to give special to thanks to the Lab staff at MLDN for the exceptional work and motivation in this installation. Their hard work paid off and the lab had a fully operational LIMS in 6 weeks, including QA/QC and auditing.

OnLab – new LIMS module

OnLab is the latest Online LIMS module that combines routine and non-routine sample data model. This module will replace the current OnSample (routine samples) and OnRepo (Batch samples) modules permitting labs to seamlessly work with either type of data model.

BioSigma (Santiago de Chile)

Online LIMS installed a complete suit of LIMS modules at the BioSigma Labs in Santiago. Ten instruments are integrated, including an innovative method for counting bacterial patterns.

Biosigma is a Japanese and Chilean research company developing new technology to use bacteria to extract copper from poor quality mineral at a low cost.

The Online Worksheet is well suited to the Biochemical laboratory requirements and workflow were data from different instruments are combined to produced the final analysis result.

acQuire – LIMS interface

Online LIMS and acQuire installed a bidirectional data interface at Loma de Níquel, the Anglo Nickel mine and smelter in Venezuela. This integrated interface between the two systems permits the geologist to send all dispatches electronically to the LIMS system. After completing the analysis the lab is able to automatically update the acQuire database. This new interface provides excellent auditing between the two systems as well as enhanced error checking and reporting.
