Good service is a key component in the decision process to purchase any major software system, including a LIMS system.Online LIMS provides very personalized customer support, our staff are extremely knowledgeable in their field and will be more than happy to help solve any issues that may arise. We are also well aware of specific requirements of various operations and have strived to develop a program that is flexible enough to address most of them. Online LIMS is a standard product that is currently running in many labs with basically no modifications. It has been thoroughly tested by hundreds of users in many different laboratory settings. The Online LIMS product is easy to support with very low maintenance costs. Installation The LIMS installation is divided in System installation and System configuration. During the system installation we install and configure the database, install all of the applications on the server, configure client workstations and setup the instrument interfacing. The system installation includes the installation training and documentation for IS personnel. This task is usually finished in 3 days. Once the system is installed, configuration begins. This is when the LIMS is customized through various configuration options to conform to the labs requirements. All users, clients records, test parameters and invoicing information are entered into the system. If migrating from an existing LIMS or similar system, historical data can be imported to the LIMS. Once the LIMS configuration is finished, staff are trained and the system begins a trial run. Further adjustments and modifications can be made if required. A medium size lab should be able to begin the second week with an 70% operable LIMS system. Installation steps

Training Training is the key focus for Online LIMS. Effective training of lab personnel in the operation and configuration of the LIMS is essential to a successful LIMS implementation. The better trained the lab staff are in the features of the LIMS the more effective it is as a tool and the more efficient the operation will be. Our training goal is to make the lab staff as independent as possible from requiring IT support. Technicians in the lab should be able to modify templates, create new analysis methods or configure reports without the need to call IT. Support With the installation of Online LIMS a remote support software is installed.
