Commercial LAB - Report oriented LIMS

OnRepo is the Report Oriented LIMS from ONLINE LIMS. It was specially designed for commercial labs, where samples are entered as a client batch. OnRepo includes many statistical tools and a very powerful invoicing and finnancial system.

As the fastest LIMS available, it is characterized by a unique browser interface and analytical reports that are presented in a familiar spreadsheet format like that of MS Excel. This spreadsheet format also offers similar functionality, allowing complex Excel-like formulas. Cell attributes such as size and font are stored along with the raw data directly in the database helping to maintain performance.

The Online LIMS data model was carefully developed over a period of two years, with extensive testing in order to maximize performance. Performance tests were conducted with over 2 years worth of raw data and all future development utilized this huge amount of data to simulate real world lab applications as closely as possible.

OnREPO – Online LIMS Report Manager

OnREPO is a report management tool for assay reporting and overall lab management. It uses an intuitive report browser interface to allow you to quickly analyze and display relevant information about each batch of samples (report). The status of each job (report) is indicated using a color-coding scheme, red for pending work, green for completed work, and blue for invoiced work. OnREPO provides important real time information such as the lab's actual workload status as well as other statistical and financial information needed by lab managers and supervisors.

OnREPO provides an immediate overview of the status of each report and analysis. Filters can be used to specify certain criteria (i.e. view only pending reports for a certain client, project, service group, date, and/or analysis). When a report is loaded, an Excel like worksheet is opened, grouping all report data in six main tabs:

Head	All report header information, i.e. Client name, reference, notes, status, etc
Sheet	Is the main report spreadsheet, similar to Excel
Test	All analyses and methods present in the report
Sample	All samples with sample status information for each sample
Memo	Full function text editor, capable of embedding documents (OLE)
Invoice	Invoice related to this report

The advanced Excel like spreadsheet allows complex formulas, handles significant figures and performs QA/QC validation together with the OnLQC module. Re-usable templates can be designed by the chemist for routine work.

The LIMS includes advanced sample tracking features. Chain of Custody and sample locations can be tracked effortlessly using Online LIMS. The LIMS also has a fully integrated Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) module.

Many report exporting formats are available, including the latest XML standard. Customers can be configured with specific report formats to further automate the reporting process and help ensure customer satisfaction.
