OnVIEW – WEB internet LIMS

OnVIEW is the client module of the LIMS. This is a client tool that permits lab clients to log in their own samples and later view their results that have been released by the lab. Security settings can be set to allow clients to see only their results or those of a specific group of clients.

The user interface is similar to Windows Explorer, allowing clients to literally browse the lab reports just like folders on a drive. This familiarity allows users to quickly become comfortable navigating throughout the Online LIMS environment. Lab data can be arranged in the tree structure grouped by client, project or area.

The internet version of OnView (iOnView) can be lunched from a browser to access client data

To see a live demo of how a LIMS 2 WEB application will work, follow the instructions below:

1. Make sure you have SUN Microsystems Java Runtime 1.4 or greater installed in your computer. If not downloaded Java Runtime 1.4.

2. Launch iOnView applet. Sometimes the server is down, pleas contact us for the demo.

3. Login using: UserName = demo, Password = demo

4. Refer to iOnView help for instructions on how to use it.
